I am getting lazy with model kit. Not so much of fixing it up but painting it. Reason? I sucks at painting. When I saw one of the Gundam figure in my wishlist when I was shopping with Dennis, I bought it. So here it is.
The RX-75 Guntank from Gundam
Fully painted and all I have to do is to assemble the upper and lower body together, all in a box. Man, I am lazy.
I had a Gundam, Guncannon and Guntank toy when I was 9 years old. There were gift from a distance Auntie. After more than two decades or more, I finally got myself a Guntank again.
I would get Zaku II and Guncannon in the same series if I see them on sales but they were no where to be found. So I got the Guntank instead.
Time to Open the Toy! Here's how it look like fresh out of packaging.
Separate in two parts...
All I need is to connect the lower tank body.
To the upper body which is Android looking.
According to the instruction sheets...
You need to break a part from the Model kit
and place it in between the body.
Finally they belongs together.
A closed up of the Gun tank pilot. Dressed in all yellow jumpsuit.
Look at the detail of the guns.
When the extension of the cannon is up, it is time to fire some shots!
This toy provide reasonable movement especially on the arms.
The backpack supposedly to let it take flight?
Although the toy can move around but tracks would look still when it is moving.
You can get to see the engine at the lower back of the robot.
Overall it is a great figure for play and display. Looking at this guntank today, really brought back some childhood memories.

Good find, L!
-Gundam fan as well... I guess.
Thanks Bro. I took more time as usual as Guncanon was sold out...if not I would complete my wishlist. :)
@KazeTora
Thanks for the info. It would be funny if guntank can take flight.
Think the pilot in the head is Hayato.
It quite hard to find 1/200 figures. Too bad I discover them in retail too late. They were Sale items. :(
