It has been some time that I wanted to do something about the missing hair of my Yotsuba toy. One of the solutions was to redo the missing part with clay. I saw some soft clay on sale at Daiso in one of my shopping trip and I was way over my head when they have clay that matches Yotsuba's hair color. I thought to myself this could be God sent!
I do have some experiences in molding Play-Doh and plasticine but I was not so sure about with clay. What is this Soft clay? I started reading the package prints for answers.
It also come with printed instruction of how to use it.
It look easy and so I started to mold...
Taking reference of the right hair to make the missing left hair. I tried hard to get it to fit on the hair but the clay was too soft. And when I try to leave it there for it to be hard, it started to crack. It's like I can never to get anything done.
After close to an hour and a half of struggling and wasting much clay, I threw in the towel. :(
After cleaning up, my options are:
1. Contact revoltech for another spare part...(but how? Do they read English? Anyone tried before?)
2. Get another Yotsuba owner to lend me the left hair to do cast and remold it (Need the owner to lend and someone who is experience to do the remoulding).
3. Get another Yotsuba (not economical and worst rob another person their chance to get a Yotsuba).
So anyone can help my Yotsuba?

Yes I need an expert or experience personnel to help me with that. That is why I said I needed help and I am calling out for it as I came to the end of my resources at the moment. :)
Remold-ing/recasting is sum thing easier said then done. The casting & RTV material cost alone will enable you to buy 4-6 more brand new Revoltech.

hmm i know that if you have problems with figmas you can contact goodsmile japan support, so maybe best bet is try emailing revoltech support? i think they do read english, because GSC japan does also. good luck!
I have an idea. Once you find the email. Write that you are missing the part in english, then take a photo of the toy missing the part and draw a sad face on it, pictures sometimes speak volumes when words fail you.
Make sure you include your mailing address.

How much is this toy now when brand new? For me I would usually buy an extra of my most favourite toy. You can also consider getting a loose piece complete with the accessories. But then again, the price and whether hard to find or not will matter too...
I got this years back for SGD$30. Brand new one vary from US$20++ and above. Now I just need the replacement part.
