If you are into Gundam Model kit, brace yourself for a brand new Gundam REAL Grade Series 2010 on 24 of July which is Gundam's 30th Birthday.
After 30 years of Model kit making, Bandai coming a new line, Real Grade between HG and MG. For the first release of RG (Real Grade), it would be RX-78-2.
The RG (Real Upgrade) Series is in 1 / 144 scale (HG size) but has MG high level of detail exterior and articulation at the same time. You can see the structures or so called skeleton formed up for the first time in the picture below.
The details of the parts are more precise now to the last detail of small parts and color tone.
The RG 1 / 144 RX-78-2 Gundam will be selling (approx. 2,625 yen) on 24th of July 2010.
Now Gunpla fan, imagine MG details and mobility on a 1/144 scale and best of all cheaper than MG pricing. I don't know about you but I am now getting excited to see what Real Grade is all about and what other Mobile suit will come along. What about you? Are you looking forward to this Real Grade line?
