LEGO official site had release news today bringing awareness that LEGO® Trademark is recognised as Well-Known Trademark in China since the official ruling passed on 22nd July 2017 in Beijing Higher Court in China.
This would spell that within China, LEGO can further take action against bootleg brick that pass on as LEGO products of it's maker or producer.
So far such replicate are not foreign to the consumer I dare say as you may have seen these before with various company brands replacing where LEGO logo should be.
It remain however how this would affect bootleg products that is produced in China and their reached outside of China as well.
